This hanging mask made of brass, created using the lost wax technique, is a remarkable representation of the god Mangesh, an aspect of Shiva. His appearance is bold and striking, with a hint of humor evident through his small smile. He has pronounced features with large bulging eyes, a sharp prominent nose, and a long mustache. His ornamentation consists of a moon necklace, large hooped earrings, and elaborate headgear as jewelry. These distinctive features give the mask a unique character, reflecting the multifaceted nature of Lord Shiva. In addition, it highlights the rich tradition of brass craftsmanship and the enduring appeal of lord Shiva in Hindu mythology.
