The use of fourteen individual scrolls allows for a grand narrative scale, transforming a transition space into a significant focal point that harmonizes with the surrounding classical elements and rich wooden textures.
Each individual piece is crafted on a foundation of deep maroon velvet, which serves as a luxurious and light-absorbing backdrop. This base ensures that the Zari work, executed with fine metallic threads, appears highly luminous and three-dimensional. The collection utilizes two primary color stories, alternating between a pure golden palette and a verdant green-and-gold combination. This rhythmic variation prevents the dense, ornate patterns from becoming visually overwhelming, instead creating a balanced and sophisticated wall treatment.
The iconography across the set focuses on the sacred Tree of Life and the floral medallion. Within each semi-circular or crescent-shaped hanging, intricate foliate scrolls and symmetrical vines radiate from a central core, representing growth and the flow of nature.
