Sanjay Tandekar paints this Tanjore painting of the celestial couple of Radha-Krishna. The Radha is often seen as the embodiment of devotion, while Krishna is seen as the embodiment of the divine. The act of playing the flute together represents the complete surrender of Radha to Krishna and her devotion to him. They are ornately decorated in jewelry with Lord Krishna adorning an elaborately designed mukut or crown topped with a peacock feather and Radha with an intricately designed crown with red and green stones etched on it.
Each of our artworks are hand painted by master artists across India. We provide a digital authentication certificate with this artwork signed by the artist which will be sent over email after 3-4 days of delivery of the artwork.
