About the Artwork +

Om Prakash's Kadam wood carving of a Royal Peacock stands as a majestic tribute to the beauty of nature within this esteemed art form. Sculpted from kadam wood, the piece showcases the intricate details and graceful curves of the peacock, capturing its regal demeanor with remarkable precision. Each delicate feather and intricate pattern is meticulously carved, demonstrating the artist's exceptional skill and attention to detail. The use of Kadam wood adds a natural fragrance to the sculpture, enhancing its allure and evoking a sense of reverence for the peacock, revered as a symbol of beauty and grace in many cultures.

Nature holds profound significance in Kadam wood carving, as the material is derived from the Kadam wood tree, renowned for its aromatic wood and spiritual properties. Om Prakash's process begins with the careful selection of premium kadam wood, ensuring sustainability and ethical sourcing practices. Employing traditional carving techniques and tools, the artist painstakingly sculpts the wood, gradually revealing the intricate form of the royal peacock.
