The Natural Bounty: Tree of Life with Flora and Fauna in Kalamkari by Harinath N.

This stunning vertical composition is a lavish representation of the Tree of Life (Kalpavriksha) rendered in the traditional Kalamkari technique by master artist Harinath N. The canvas is densely packed, built around a sturdy, deep red-brown central trunk that branches out to fill the entire field.
The overwhelming density of the foliage is achieved through countless intricate floral and leaf motifs, all rendered in a warm, limited palette of ochres, deep reds, olive greens, and soft yellows against the natural cream background of the cotton fabric. This profusion of detail transforms the tree into a sanctuary, teeming with life.
The composition is a vibrant visual tapestry celebrating the fertility and interconnectedness of the natural world. Hidden within the rich foliage are numerous stylized birds, including parrots, alongside monkeys, reinforcing the theme of abundance. At the base, the tree rises from a stylized earthen mound, flanked symmetrically by two magnificent peacocks whose plumage seamlessly merges with the lush greenery, symbolizing beauty and immortality. Adding to the majestic forest aura are elephants, rendered in shades of blue, white, and yellow, underscoring the tree’s role as a vital source of life, shelter, shade, and food, where diverse species live together in harmony and balance.
The entire composition is contained within a multi-layered border. A stunning floral border, featuring dynamic vines in shades of yellow and brown, frames the piece and creates a sense of continuous movement. The final composition is completed by small square boxes at each edge, traditionally featuring a floral bloom, visually containing the overflowing life force within the central field.

Domestic Orders

All prices are inclusive of GST and applicable Indian taxes.

• We offer free shipping on orders above ₹999 for all artworks, except Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri.
• A flat shipping rate of ₹249 applies to orders below ₹999.

Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri

Shipping is charged on a per-kilogram basis, due to the delicate and bulky nature of these items.

International Orders

• A flat shipping charge of ₹4,000 applies to international artwork orders.
• Customs duties, taxes, or import charges in the buyer’s country are not included and must be borne by the buyer.
• Shipping rates for Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri artworks will be calculated based on weight.

Additonal Shipping Charges

Extra charges may be applicable for both domestic and international deliveries in the following cases:

• If the article requires additional packaging (such as a wooden crate) to ensure safe shipping due to its delicate nature.
• Custom-framed artworks.
• Artworks where shorter side exceeds 36 inches or Decor items with any side over 35 inches.
• If you request express shipping. Contact support to check availability.
• The order contains more than two different product types.

All artworks are handmade and couriered securely packed in a tube.
