Ajrakh is a traditional block-printing method from Kutch, Gujarat, known for its intricate geometric and floral patterns and a limited color palette derived from natural dyes. This fascinating piece of Ajrakh art by Mubassirah Khalid Khatri showcases a single camel in a stylized desert landscape, with a geometric, segmented sky above and a dotted ground below.
The painting prominently features the words "RANN OF KUTCH" at the top, a nod to the region where this art form has flourished. The camel's form is filled with intricate patterns, a hallmark of the craft, and the piece is rendered in a limited color palette of deep blues, ochre, and a small amount of deep red. The entire composition is framed by a highly detailed border filled with the geometric patterns that define Ajrakh art. This piece is a beautiful example of how traditional art forms are used to depict the landscape and culture of the region.

No, we currently sell artworks unframed (unless explicitly mentioned otherwise) and do not provide framing services.
We ship worldwide. All artworks are handmade and couriered securely in transit safe packaging sutaible for the artwork.

Returns and Replacements
We offer replacements or repairs if your artwork arrives damaged or has a quality issue. As each artwork is handcrafted, we do not accept returns or refunds for orders received in the expected condition.
Delivery Timeline
Ready To Ship/In Stock artworks are shipped in 3-4 days. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery. However, no returns can be accepted for international deliveries.
Once your order is placed, our team stays in constant communication with the artist to track the progress and ensure the quality of your order. You will receive regular updates from us throughout this process.
All MeMeraki artworks are hand-painted. In rare occasions, artist may face delays due to weather, health, prior commitments or force majeure. Our team will reach out to you with revised timelines in case of such delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.
