Dwarka Prasad paints this Kavad painting of Krishna Leela. Krishna's life primarily composes of his Leelas as he steals butter, dances with the peacocks, splashes in the river, play the bamboo flute and spends his time with his friends in the forest herding cows earning him names like Maakhan Chor (the Butter Thief), Gopala (the Protector of Cows), and Madan Mohan (the Mesmerizer). Krishna also performed miracles throughout his life while he lived on earth as a human, such as raising the Govardhan mountain on his little finger and seducing gopis with the sultry sound of the bansi or flute, killing the demoness Putana, or dancing upon and subduing Kāliya.
