This grand, breathtakingly complex Pichwai painting by Dinesh Soni presents an elaborate depiction of the Maha Raas Leela, the ultimate cosmic dance of devotion. The composition achieves a magnificent, rhythmic symmetry, organizing multiple divine couples into a sweeping circular mandala of ecstatic movement.

At the literal and spiritual center of the canvas is the primary pairing of Radha and Lord Krishna, dynamically locked in a dancing posture, holding hands while their multi-layered garments flare outward. Radiating outward from this central axis are nine independent pairs of Gopi and Krishna, forming a perfect, rotating circle of divine play (lila), depicting the confluence of jivatmas (living souls) to the paramatma (supreme divine). Each manifestation of Krishna is rendered in a deep blue tone, dressed in an orange dhoti and flowing sashes with a peacock feather, while each Radha is uniquely dressed in a variation of richly textured, multi-colored pleated skirts (lehengas), including emerald green, ochre yellow, deep crimson, and slate blue.

This entire cosmic dance unfolds upon a white, starlit ground. The top background transitions into a dense, semi-circular canopy of the Nidhivan, filled with banana trees and weeping foliage under a deep indigo monsoon sky. A luminous full moon sits at the absolute center-top, flanked by four divine chariots (vimans) carrying Shiv-Parvati, Indra-Indrani, Vishnu-Lakshmi and Brahma-Sarawati, observing through the heavens.

Anchoring the lower foreground are two large, symmetrically placed peacocks with open, fan-like tail plumage displaying their intricate eye motifs, alongside a pair of serene peahens. Below them, a dense row of fully bloomed pink lotuses and green lily pads line the dark blue waters of the Yamuna River.

The painting is enclosed within a traditional geometric frame that provides a stately finish. The inner border features a fine running decorative band, wrapped by a thick outer border filled with repeating, multi-colored circular floral rosettes, delivering a beautifully cohesive masterwork that honors the grandest traditions of Pichwai heritage.

Domestic Orders

All prices are inclusive of GST and applicable Indian taxes.

• We offer free shipping on orders above ₹1999 for all artworks, except Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri.
• A flat shipping rate of ₹499 applies to orders below ₹1999.

Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri

Shipping is charged on a per-kilogram basis, due to the delicate and bulky nature of these items.

International Orders

• A flat shipping charge of ₹4,000 applies to international artwork orders.
• Customs duties, taxes, or import charges in the buyer’s country are not included and must be borne by the buyer.
• Shipping rates for Lippan, Terracotta and Thikri artworks will be calculated based on weight.

Extra charges may be applicable for both domestic and international deliveries in the following cases:

• If the article requires additional packaging (such as a wooden crate) to ensure safe shipping due to its delicate nature.
• Custom-framed artworks.
• Artworks where shorter side exceeds 36 inches or Decor items with any side over 35 inches.
• If you request express shipping. Contact support to check availability.
• The order contains more than two different product types.
